The Expansion Module connects to the Flame-Monitor Chassis by means\n of a ribbon cable. It is designed for use exclusively with the 220V/240V Flame-Monitor System.\n These can be EB720 or the EB701 chassis.\n For 110V systems, the E300 Expansion Module should be used along with the E211 Flame-Monitor\n System.\n By wiring any of sixteen interlock switches into the Expansion Module, the Flame-Monitor display\n will automatically act as a “first-out” annunciator for these interlocks. In addition, a fuel selection\n circuit is standard.\n The Expansion Module does not interfere with the normal operation of the Flame-Monitor System. It\n expands the message and diagnostic capability.\n The 3G-OTH-02786 problem solving system provides operational information and reduces troubleshooting\n time and expense. It expands the standard 30 display messages of the Flame-Monitor control to\n include an additional 16 diagnostic messages.\n For more information on the E210 (EB720) Flame-Monitor System, see Bulletin E-2001 for a\n detailed description of the system.\n The 3G-OTH-02786 can also be used with the E120 Flame-Monitor System as described in this bulletin.\n\n\n\nSPECIFICATIONS\n Supply Voltage 220V/240V (min. 187V, max. 264V) 50/60Hz\n Ambient Temperature Levels: - 40F to +140 F (-40C to +60C)\n Response Time: 100 milliseconds\n Weight: 0.5 lb. The non-recycling inter-\n locks are in the 3-P circuit. The interlock in the 3-P circuit will automatically change the standard\n running interlock message on the Flame-Monitor control from “Safety Circuit Opened Purge” to be\n one which will individually identify the interlock by name. For example, if the low gas pressure\n interlock opens, the message will be “Low Gas Pressure.”\n The message on the ED510 will be displayed on a “first out” basis. The running interlock switch\n which opens first will be the one shown on the display. In cases where there are multiple interlocks\n open on start-up, the first open interlock will appear on the display in the following order:\n\n Table 2: E210/E211 Interlock System\n\n OIL MODE GAS MODE\n Terminal Interlock Terminal Interlock\n 20 Fuel Selector 21 Fuel Selector\n 22 Low Oil Temperature 23 Low Gas Pressure\n 24 Low Oil Pressure 25 High Gas Pressure\n 26 Low Atomizing Pressure 27 Auxiliary Gas\n 28 Auxiliary Oil 29 Air Flow\n 29 Air Flow 30 High Pressure\n 30 High Pressure 31 High Temperature\n 31 High Temperature 32 Low Water\n\n 32 Low Water 33 High Water\n 33 High Water 34 Aux NR1\n 34 Aux NR1 35 Aux NR2\n 35 Aux NR2 P Aux NR3\n\n P Aux NR3\n\n\n\n When a “Lockout” condition is manually reset, the Flame-Monitor and Expansion Module are ready\n to begin a new burner sequence. To reset the system, push down on the reset button found on the\n Display Module of the ED510, hold for one second and release. Only a small amount of pressure is\n necessary for this operation.\n If the fuel selection switch is operated during a cycle, the control will “lockout” and display a\n “Safety Circuit Opened” message.\n\n\n IMPORTANT: When a combination fuel burner is used with the Flame-Monitor, you must\n interrupt power to the control (terminal L1) momentarily when you change fuels.\n\n\n When a single fuel burner is used, the fuel selector switch is not necessary. On a gas only burner,\n the oil interlocks (22, 24, 26, should not be jumpered. On an oil only burner, the gas interlocks (23,\n 25, 27, 28) should not be jumpered. interlocks (23, 25, 27, 28) should not be jumpered.\n\n\n\n\n 3\n\f \n\n\n\n\nTYPICAL WIRING WHEN USED WITH E210 FLAME-MONITOR\n\n\n 60-1950 WIRING BASE FOR 3G-OTH-02786\n\n\n L2 20 22 24 26 28 30 32 34\n\n\n 21 23 25 27 29 31 33 35\n\n\n\n AUX\n GAS\n\n\n E350 SHIELDED\n RIBBON CABLE\n LOW GAS HIGH GAS HIGH LOW AUX AUX\n GAS PRESSURE PRESSURE GAS PRESS WATER NR1 NR3\n FUEL FUEL\n SELECTOR SELECTOR OIL\n OIL\n AIR HIGH HIGH AUX\n FLOW TEMP WATER NR2\n\n\n\n CONNECT LOW OIL LOW OIL LOW ATOM AUX\n CABLE TEMP PRESS MEDIA OIL\n SHIELD TO PRESS\n EARTH\n GROUND\n\n\n\n\n 3 60-1386-2 WIRING BASE FOR E210 P\n OR\n L1\n 60-1466-2\n 220/240V\n NOTE: ALL EXISTING WIRING ON…
