■ Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the
temperature/humidity/dew point meter from SUPCO.
Please take a few minutes to browse through this user
manual before you begin to operate the meter to
ensure that you are fully familiarized with how best to
operate the meter as accurately and safely as
possible.
The meter is a temperature and humidity measuring
instrument. It is normally used to measure the humidity
and temperature in offices, storerooms, buildings and
greenhouses.
1.1 Precautions safety measures
To get the best performance from this meter, please
read this user manual carefully and observe the
detailed safety precautions strictly.
1.1.1 During use
1. Do not touch the humidity sensor.
2. Don not expose the sensor to direct light, this
causes a false reading.

3. Never store the product together with solvents,
acids or other aggressive substances.
1.1.2 Maintaining the product
l Do not measure in a high ambient temperature
location.
l When not using the instrument for a long time,
please remove the battery and avoid locations with
high temperature and high humidity.

■ Operating Instructions
*NOTE: In order to ensure the accuracy of the
measurement readings, all the interference sources
which may affect the measurement results about
temperature and humidity (such as the hand) must be
kept away from the sensor.
1. Press the ON/OFF key to turn the power on. The
LCD will display the current value of temperature and
humidity. The default humidity / temperature unit is %
RH / ℃.
2. Press Unit to change the humidity / temperature
units. The adjustable parameters are %RH (Relative
Humidity), td(Dew-point Temperature), ℃, ℉; press
The Mode and HOLD keys to change MAX/MIN and HOLD
Light
mode.
3. Switching the back light on
HOLD
When the meter is on, press Light key for more than
2 seconds; the back light will be turned on, and the
icon will be displayed on the LCD. Press the key

again for more than 2 seconds and the backlight will be
turned off, and the icon will disappear.
■ Function keys
1. ON/OFF key
Press the key to turn the power ON and press the key
again for more than 2 seconds to turn the power OFF.
2. Mode key
Press the key to select MAX/MIN. The LCD will
display the max/min values since the instrument was
last switched on or last reset.
3. Unit key
Press the key to change the parameter units.
Adjustable units: %RH/℃,td/℃,%RH/℉,td/℉.
HOLD
4. Light key
When pressed, a icon is displayed on the LCD and
the readout is held. Press the key once more to cancel

the hold function.
Press the key for more than 2 seconds and the back
light will be turned on, The icon will be displayed
on the LCD. Press the key again for more than 2
seconds, and the backlight will be turned off; the icon
will disappear.
5. Auto power off setting
The meter will power itself off after 20 minutes if there
is no key operation.
To cancel auto power off function: Press the Hold key
when power is on until the LCD displays AP OFF, then
press the Hold key again to confirm the setting.
■ Maintenance
1. CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
The meter may be wiped down with a wet sponge or
cloth using a mild water based detergent.
NOTE:
This unit is not designed for complete submersion or
washing in water.

2. BATTERY REPLACEMENT
Use the following procedure:
When the battery voltage drops below proper
operation range the symbol will appear on the
LCD display and the battery needs to be replaced.
∞ Press the battery cover towards the arrowhead
direction to open the battery cover.
∞ Replace the battery with three new AAA (1.5V)
batteries.
∞ Replace the battery cover.

This warranty applies only to products which after
shipment from the factory, have not been altered, changed,
repaired, or treated in any manner whatsoever.
This warranty to repair or replace is the only warranty
either expressed, implied or statutory and is the only
warranty being issued herein; Sealed Unit Parts Co., Inc.'s
liability in connection with its products is expressly limited

INTRODUCTION
Merci d'avoir acheté ce thennomètre et hygromètre portable. Veuillez prendre quelques
minutes pour passer en revue ce manuel d'utilisation avant d'actionner l'appareil de mesure.
Vous devez vous assurer que vous vous êtes entièrement familiarisés avec l'appareil pour pouvoir
l'utiliser sans risque.
Cet instrument mesure la température et l'hygrométrie et est normalement utilisé dans un bureau,
magasin, bâtiment ....
1.1 PRECAUTIONS D'UTILISATION
Pour avoir la meilleure utilisation de ce thermomètre / hygromètre, veuillez lire attentivement ce
manuel et respecter scrupuleusement toutes les instructions.
1.1.1 PENDANT L'UTILISATION
1.1.1.1 Ne pas toucher au capteur d'humidité
1.1.1.2 Ne pas exposer le capteur directement à la lumière, cela faussera la mesure
1.1.1.3 Quand la batterie est en dessous de la charge minimum nécessaire à l'utilisation,
le symbole## apparaît sur l'écran LCD. Il faut donc changer la batterie.
1.1.1.4 Ne pas stocker à proximité de solvants, acides et autres produits agressifs
1.1.2 BIEN UTILISER CE PRODUIT
1.1.2.1 Ne pas faire des mesures dans des lieux trop chauds et ou trop humides.
1.1.2.2 Quand vous n'utilisez pas le produit pendant un long moment, veuillez retirer les
piles et conserver le produit dans un endroit à l'écart de la chaleur et de
!'humidité.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Placer des piles neuves dans l'instrument de mesure
2. Presser la touche (type /on-off) pour démarrer et les valeurs de température et humidité
s'affichent. Par défaut, les unités sont %RH et °C
3. Presser la touche (UNIT) pour changer les unités %RH, td, °C, °F
4. Presser (MODE) et (HOLD/Light) pour changer MAX MIN & HOLD
5. Presser (HOLD/Light) >2s pour allumer ou éteindre le rétro éclairage
Si vous avez besoin de plus d'opérations, voyez SVP la description de clavier
DESCRIPTION CLAVIER
1 ON/OFF : Presser une fois pour allumer, appuyer une seconde fois pendant plus de 2
secondes pour éteindre.
2 MODE: Pour naviguer entre les valeurs max et min enregistrées depuis le démarrage de
l'appareil ou de la dernière remise à zéro
3 UNIT: Pour changer l'unité de mesure %RH, td, °C, °F
4 HOLD/Light: Une brève pression permet de figer la mesure et un H apparaît sur l'écran.
Une deuxième pression permet de libérer la mesure. Une pression longue de la touche
permet d'allumer ou d'éteindre l'éclairage de l'écran.
5 MISE EN VEILLE : la mise en veille se fait automatiquement au bout de 25s en mode
infrarouge et 20 minutes en mode thermocouple.
Pour annuler cette fonction, il faut appuyer sur la touche (HOLD) au démarrage et AP
OFF s'affichera. Presser (HOLD) pour confirmer le paramétrage.
MAINTENANCE
1 INSTRUCTIONS DE NETTOYAGE
Cet instrument de mesure peut être essuyé vers le bas avec une éponge ou un tissu humide utilisant un
savon antibactérien ou un détergent à base d'eau doux et être rincé sous un jet doux d'eau froide
NOTE cette unité n'est pas conçue pour l'immersion complète ou laver dans l'eau
2 REMPLACER LES PILES
Employez le procédé suivant :
Quand le symbole apparaîtra sur l'affichage, il est nécessaire de changer les batteries.
Presser le couvercle des piles et pousser dans le sens de la flèche. Remplacer les piles par 3 nouvelles.
