IDENTIFICATION\nThe SUNTEC M2C multifunctional gas valve is a 1-stage system.\n (Not all model combinations are available. Consult\nThis multifunctional gas valve consists of 2 safety valves and constant pressure regulator your Suntec representative)\ncontrolled by a servo-regulator.\n Gas valve size\n\n\nAPPLICATIONS Pressure regulator type\n C = Constant pressure regulator\n\nThe SUNTEC multifunctional gas valve is recommended for collective or industrial pressure\n Maximum inlet pressure / Valve class\njet burners.\n 5 = 360 mbar - A+A\nThe use of the SUNTEC multifunctional gas valve is recommended in all gas installations\nrequiring a safety shutoff and pressure control, for inlet pressure up to 360 mbar. Regulator pressure range\n 2 = 4 - 20 mbar\nIt is suitable for use with 1st, 2nd and 3rd family gases (according to EN 437). 5 = 4 - 50 mbar\n\n\n 2nd safety valve opening\nOPERATION PRINCIPLE F = Fast opening\n S = Slow opening\n\nSafety valve Safety valves type of supply\nM2C multifunctional gas valve comprises two class A automatic safety valves, direct-acting, 0 = Independent\nelectrically operated. 1 = Simultaneous\nAt rest, both safety valves are closed; thus gas cannot flow beyond chamber ①.\nWhen energized, the coils open and release the gas flow from chamber ① to chamber ② Coils voltage\n 7 = 230 V AC\nfor safety valve V1 (from chamber ③ to chamber ④ for V2).\nWhen de-energized, each safety valve closes within 0.2 s.\n\nPressure regulator\n M2 C 5 2 S 1 7 - 2 - 1 0 8 6\nThe gas pressure regulator is normally closed type, pneumatically operated by a servo system.\nThe servo system controls the main regulator valve opening to equilibrate – through a\ndiaphragm – the downstream pressure (in chamber ③) to a setpoint adjusted by the screw S. Revision\n\nIn relation to this given set point, if the gas pressure in the chamber ③ is :\n Customization code\n • Lower, the servo-regulator opens and sends pressure into the chamber ⑤ to lift the\n main diaphragm. The pressure regulator then opens.\n Hydraulic\n → The regulated pressure (in chamber ③) increases. damper\n\n • Upper, the servo-regulator closes and sends less pressure into the chamber ⑤ to\n lower the main diaphragm.
