It expands the capability of the parallel positioning\nsystem by adding valuable safety-rated digital inputs, sequence draft control, boiler water level control and total dissolved\nsolids (TDS) surface and bottom blowdown control. The small footprint (5 in. L x 8.5 in. W x 3.75 in. H), adjustable voltage\n(120/230, 50/60 Hz) and simplified wiring provide easy retrofit to existing Fireye systems.\nThe water level control expands the capability of the\nparallel positioning system with seven low voltage, safety-\nrated digital inputs along with two line voltage, safety-\nrated digital inputs. When configured via available option\nparameters, these inputs can be used to simply annunciate\nconditions or shut the boiler down.\nSequence draft control is built into the module to control\nthe boiler output damper. When combined with an\nappropriate differential pressure sensor, Fireye servomotor\nor third-party actuator, the outlet damper will modulate\nand maintain the manufacturer’s outlet draft set point.\nThe damper can be controlled with a Fireye CANbus-\ndriven servo motor or a third-party actuator capable of\naccepting a 4-20mA signal. Analog control requires optional\ndaughterboard (NXDBWLC or NXDBVSD) in main control.\nMaximum input impedance of actuators is 250 ohms. The Water Level Daughterboard\nboiler outlet damper is controlled during standby, pre-purge,\nignition and operation to provide a consistent outlet draft for The optional expansion daughterboard (NXDBWLC)\nimproved combustion performance and reduced standby enhances the capability of the Nexus system by\nlosses. optimizing boiler water quality and level. The results\n are higher-quality steam and reduced boiler water side\nOther Enhancements scaling.\n • Oxygen trim - 20+ years proven oxygen probe The daughterboard includes an input from the\n technology measurement of total dissolved solids (TDS) which\n • VFD - Daughterboard for PPC6000/NX61000 provides in turn controls a surface, bottom or combination of\n two VFD channels plus modbus RTU blowdown valves. A fully programmable operating\n scheme allows each site to be custom configured\n based on water and operating conditions. Provisions\n are made for connecting a RTD temperature sensor\n (PT100) or the system can use a built-in steam table\n for estimating water temperature compensation.\n The daughterboard features one analog output for\n controlling the boiler feed water valve or the sequence\n draft damper. The maximum input ompedance of the\n actuators must not exceed 250 ohms.\n\n\n\n\nFor more information, please contact your local Fireye Distributor.\nfireye.com\nMF-00-2-0600-0-050-B (2024/08)\nAll trademarks and service marks referred herein are property of their respective owners.\n©2024 Fireye.
