[{"filename":"NXD-6301-NX6220_and_NX6330_12-Key_Keypad_Display_English_2023_06_02.pdf","text":"NXD-6301\n 3G-OTH-02838, NX6330\n February 6, 2023\n\n\n\n NEXUS 3G-OTH-02838\n and NX6330\n 12-Key\n KEYPAD\n DISPLAY\n\n\nINTRODUCTION:\n\n The Fireye 3G-OTH-02838 or NX6330 (with Ethernet) OLED (Organic LED) 12 key keypad\n displays provide an easy to read, bright operator interface for operation and\n commissioning of Fireye NX6100 or PPC6000* series control. The addition of four multi-\n function soft keys, make commissioning quicker and easier. Once in commissioning\n mode, these keys group related options, such as all servomotor options, together for\n convenience, minimizing the risk of skipping options that are related but in different\n areas of the program.\n\n Two models are available: 3G-OTH-02838 (basic display with USB port) and NX6330 (USB and\n Ethernet port). Both displays include complete commissioning back up as well as three\n user defined relays. English, French and Spanish languages are supported and can\n easily be selected from a list of available languages stored within the display. Other\n languages may be added from time to time, consult the factory for availability.\n\n The NX6330 Display also includes a choice of MODbus TC/PIP or BACnet integration\n into Building Automation Systems (BAS). See Fireye Bulletin MOD-6001 for the\n appropriate register point lists.\n\n The tactile membrane keypad provides a “click” feedback for positive key stroke entry.\n The lithium-ion battery maintains the commissioned backup, clock, calendar, and event\n log function in the event of power loss.\n\n * When used with the Fireye PPC6000, the Fuel key will have no function as fuel\n selection is performed externally to the PPC6000.\n\n\n\n\n© 2023 Carrier 1\n\f Inside this bulletin:\n\n\nContents\n1. OLED (Organic LED) Display & Keypad option\nThe OLED display supports plain text information in a variety of formats. This display is used for\nsetting up the controller parameters and operating the boiler. The keypad is a membrane construction\nwith tactile keys (you can feel the ‘click’) that gives positive feedback of the actuation. This unit\nincludes a lithium battery for the clock / calendar / event log functions.\n\n\n\n\n Indication LEDs\n\n\n\n Function Keys 1-4\nThese keys will activate the\nfunction as displayed above\nthem on the OLED display\n Up/Down, Left/Right\nThese keys are used to navigate\nthe menus and information\ndisplayed.\n\n\n\n\n© 2023 Carrier 3\n\f Key Function\n EK Press this key to select the Status and Engineer's Key Data (EK) modes.\n Fuel Press this key to change the Fuel/Profile. If you change fuel when the burner\n is firing, the burner will go OFF and then restart, firing the new fuel selection.\n *\n On/Off Press this key to switch the burner ON or OFF, and to enable changes\n Mode between Normal and Local operation.\n\n Note: Terminal PE6 must be ON for this switch to start the burner.\n Mute Press this key to mute (open) the alarm relays, and then press and hold the\n Reset key down for approximately three seconds to reset the cleared faults.\n\n The Fuel key will have no function when used with the Fireye PPC6000.\n\n\n When using the 3G-OTH-02838 and NX6330 displays, the password entry expects a 6-figure number,\n entered in two phases/sets. Press F4 COM to enter Commissioning, Site, and Adjust Ratio\n passcodes. See examples below:\n\n When entering Commissioning passcode with 000 displayed scroll up entering first phase/set then\n Press [ENTER] scroll up entering second phase/set then Press [ENTER].\n\n When entering passcode for Site and ADJ Ratio with 000 displayed press the right arrow key,\n then\n scroll up entering Site or Adjust Ratio passcodes then Press [ENTER].\n\n Example:\n 000 Shown scroll up to XXX then Press [ENTER] scroll up to XXX [ENTER] equalling\n Commissioning.\n 000 Shown Press > then scroll up to XXX equalling Adjust Ratio number then Press [ENTER].\n 000 Shown Press > then scroll up to XXX equalling Site Passcode number then Press [ENTER].\n\n\n To obtain Commissioning, Adjust Ratio, and Site Passcodes consult with Fireye or OEM.\n\n\n\n\n© 2023 Carrier 4\n\f1.1 System Overview / Main Screen\nThe system overview is the default information displayed during normal operation of the burner.\n\n\n\n Current\n Current\n modulation\n Operating\n mode.\n mode.\n Currently\n Unit address.\n selected\n fuel profile.\n Burner\n Burner Information\n Status\n\n Soft Keys\n F1-4\n\n\n System Overview Screen\n\n\n\n\n Key Function\n F1 Selects the modulation modes (AUTO, MAN).\n F2 Selects the LFH.\n F3 Opens the Data screen, which shows further operational data of the controls.\n F4 Enters commissioning mode.\n\n\nNote: The soft keys have multiple functions.
