Since its mounting flange, hub and\nshaft sizes are manufactured to international standards\n(EN 225-1), it can be fitted to every type of high pressure\noil burner or transfer pump applications. Its features\nallow an easy pump replacement with every other type\nof oil pump. On request the pump can be provided\nfree of nonferrous metals.\nThis unit must not be used to pump water or acid.\n\n\n\n2- Operation\nThe VU fuel unit consists of a pump, solenoid valve, filter\nand pressure regulator valve (1) housed within one\ncasting. The pumping action is obtained from a gerotor\n(2), where the inner rotor is connected to the drive shaft\n(3). The pump casting provides the various oil ways, for\nthe suction (6), return (5) and nozzle ports (9). Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Elektrogas VU universal fuel unit used for?

The Elektrogas VU universal fuel unit is an oil pump designed for high pressure oil burners and transfer pump applications. It can replace every other type of oil burner pump due to its 4-in-1 universal design, which includes bilateral nozzle ports and suitability for both clockwise and counter clockwise rotation.

What are the specifications of the Elektrogas VU oil pump?

The Elektrogas VU pump features a gerotor pumping action, solenoid valve, filter, and pressure regulator valve in one casting. It has suction, return, and nozzle ports, plus pressure and vacuum gauge ports. The mounting flange, hub, and shaft conform to EN 225-1 standards. For low viscosity fuel below 2.5 cSt, do not exceed 12 bar.

Where to buy the Elektrogas VU pump in Singapore?

3G Electric supplies the Elektrogas VU universal fuel unit to customers in Singapore. We handle logistics, customs clearance, and delivery to your facility. Contact us for pricing and lead time on this oil pump, which is designed for high pressure oil burners and transfer pump applications.

How to install the Elektrogas VU universal fuel unit?

The VU unit is supplied in a two-pipe self-priming version. On start-up, rotating gears purge air from the suction chamber. For initial commissioning, bleed air more quickly through the pressure gauge port. The rotation selector is located under the vacuum gauge. Ensure the pump is not used with water or acid.

Used in

Common applications for Elektrogas
Industrial steam and hot-water boiler gas trains — VMR slow-opening solenoid valves on modulating burners
